    Rrin First Hatched Character Bio

    Rrin

Srass felt the impact of the photon torpedoes hitting the starbase, and could hear the hiss as the blast doors fell.  However, after the doors slammed shut, she noticed the hiss didn’t stop.  There was an air leak somewhere on the outer hull, and with the primary reactor off-line, the structural integrity field was down and oxygen could escape through the micro cracks in the hull.  At least the nursery is on the Gila VI side of the starbase, and unlikely to be hit.  Her clutch would probably survive, but what kind of universe would her hatchlings grow up in?

Rrin had no memory of his mother, since he hatched after the Klingon sneak attack on the Gorn system at Gila VI.  Raised as slaves by the Klingon attackers, Rrin, his siblings and their foster mother survived through hard work and keeping quiet.  Once the hostilities between the Klingons and Gorn were terminated with the fall of the Gorn homeworld in 2403, and the inclusion of King Slathis in a non-voting position on the Klingon High Council, all previous Gorn prisoners-of-war, including slaves, were repatriated.

Rrin had lived on Qo’nos all his life, and had no ties to anyone back on Gorn, or so he thought.  Gorn women raise their clutches alone, and often the father isn’t even known.  However in Rrin’s case, his father was still alive, but did not have any interest in his offspring, preferring them to live or die on their own, as is the Gorn way.  Rrin returned to Qo’nos, and settled some old scores, including killing the son of his former master in a legal duel. As he is First Hatched, he feels an innate responsibility for his siblings, and he has been searching the records of the Klingon/Gorn war to find out what ultimately happened to them after their master sold off the rest of his clutch.  After finding two of his sisters, he enrolled in the Klingon Academy for access to more resources in the search.

At the Academy, Rrin continued eliminating his rivals, often in legal Bat’leth to-the-death duels, but a few of his most hated enemies died screaming in their beds from parasites devouring their organs, a “present” from his mother’s biological research on Gila VI.  Oddly though, his favorite pastime while at the Academy was Klingon Opera; while he was never selected for the lead roles, he often trained the actors in his specialty, combat with ancient melee weapons.

Currently captaining the IKS Bal’Rog, a B’Rel retrofit with an Enhanced Battle Cloak (“Silent Death” is the ship’s nickname), Rrin prefers to attack his opponents with a barrage of torpedos, varying his loadout depending on the situation, before fading away and disappearing, leaving an Aceton Assimilator and Bioneural Warhead as a parting gift.

“A green diaper will not protect you from my Plasma Torpedo swarm, Federation Slo’Stiss! You will burn to death surrounded by your shields!”
